Athletes taking part in this epic event will SWIM 38km, CYCLE 1800km, and RUN 442km (
2260km in 15 Days!) Athletes will participate in the 1st of many annual gatherings by top tri-athletes from around the world right here in beautiful South Africa. All athletes who complete this IUTA World Cup Race will earn full points and possibly set new world records!
They chose the perfect location to host this epic event! Accommodation at Gariep, A Forever Resort will be something to remember. Apart from the excellent accommodation, the venue has a beautiful, large swimming pool on-site which will also be used for the swimming leg of the tri-athlon! This in itself sets it apart from other venues across the world. The international event will gain world recognition and boost the annual offering to new heights!
