R umblin Rose the brand was born at the age of 32 when I embarked on a solo journey to the coast of Mossel Bay to carve out a new, less suffocating life away from the city of gold (Johannesburg). I remember how burnt out I felt. It was time to breathe and figure out how I am going to approach life with a fresh take on reality. Little did I know how challenging this new journey would proove to be; as is the case with many professionals moving down to the coast where industry mainly relies on the seasonal tourism trade.

I established my company (Pty) Limited as the main custodian of my labels. I had to use skillsets I acquired over the years in a small town which had little to no use for my corporate prowess. It took me months to adapt to the slower pace; realising just how hard I had pushed myself up to that point. I had to learn to shake the 'ratrace' mentality and actually stop to enjoy and be present in the moment. Have I mastered that yet? Well, sort of. Its been a long hard road even surrounded by beauty and the gifts of nature. The reality is, Covid changed the world. AI is changing it even faster.

After years of refining needs and wants, I finally settled on a range of relaxing trades with which I can live out my own personal creative side. I love creative hustles and adore any humble little farmstall. Now I focus my efforts with the trading post online, to expand my own retail range. Every now and again when opportunity knocks and I have time, I open PadstalShoppie PopUp Shops in season to move stock faster, also offering vendors and other smaller SME's to get going with a side hustle with wholesale lines. I have now split my creative retail trade site, and launched my Advertising Agency to deal with serious business. Cherry Pepper Media saw the light in early March 2024 after finally realising the need to focus on the two brands seperately. One company, 3 separate brands.
